Hello All!

Nothing new to post for an update... Trailer is still down at my buddies shop. Has been there all winter. I stayed busy most of the winter hauling liquid manure and haven't had any time to even look at it. When I have had the time, the weather has been way to cold and miserable to work on it. I haven't worked in over two months now. But the weather hasn't gotten any where near nice enough yet. Up until the last week or so. And now my spring work is getting close to taking off again... Thank God! I hope have it in a completed stage soon. My truck hasn't been home except for one week since September. It is still about 40 miles from here at the contractors shop waitn g to come home in a week for a job nearer to me and then from there I don't know yet! I will post more pics. when I get some....

Hello Hoss,

Good to hear from you. Let us know whats going on with the trailer when work begins. I would like to see some pictures of you unloading, if you get the chance.

Hello Tom!

I really don't know if anything will come along for it before harvest in the fall. I had a line on a couple of things but, with this economy both of those went away as fast as the possibility arose.... I will most assuredly get some pics to post of it working when I use it again though. I am excited about trying the trailer again. After that amount of work.

Hello All!

I am still slowly putting the finishing touches on the trailer. To try and get it ready long before seed corn starts in early September. I did have a local guy approach me a couple of days ago about hauling some mulch for him and offered me really good $$ to do it. So I am going to ramp up the progress here and try to get it ready pretty quick to go take care of this job. Said it could be up to 80 loads total. Looking at 4 or 5 to get things rolling on his end. I hope this turns out to be something here.

Hi Hoss,

Sounds like good news. Now if you only had that Cleen Sweep unit in the trailer. They are great for mulch. How many loads is that a day you think?

Hi Tom!

Looks like a load or two a day and get the first 5 in and then see what happens from there. Haven't gotten a start date as of yet. I do hope to be starting on this job sometime next week though. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

Hi Hoss!

Sure hope it turns out to be the 80 like you had mentioned. Have you ran the trailer yet, since the big repair job? You know me Hoss, get pictures on the mulch unload. I love to see our stuff in action. Thanks Bud!

Talk to you soon

SUCCESS!!!!!!

I am starting the 4th week of work for the 2009 season....

I have the 21st load on tonite for an overnite (preload) for tomorrow morning at the plant. So far so good.... It is not nearly perfect but, it is doing the job as of yet. I have more than a couple of hydraulic leaks to contend with yet. I am using buckets to catch the drips at the plant so that it doesn't make a mess. It will have to make it thru the rest of the season the way that it is. We have approx. 3 to 3 1/2 weeks to go yet. So the plant guys are saying this evening.... It looks far better than it did 2 yrs. ago and is no where near the tires. She's still kinda ugly looking but, it isn't supposed to be a beauty queen. Beauty doesn't make you the money.... We actually added somewhere in the neighborhood of approx. 650-750# lbs. to the trailer with all of the work that we did.

Hoss

Added some pics. of the forst load at the plant....

BTW....

The mulch deal fell through.... Didn't work from 5/12 thru 09/09.... Long - Dry Summer....
